Athletes ages 6-17 are eligible for evaluations for elite teams. Elite Teams are offered for levels 1-4. The number of teams, the ages for each team and the level for each team are determined by the athletes at evaluations.
Royals are evaluated on jumps, tumbling, dance, motion technique, attitude, ability to receive and apply feedback and stunting capabilities.

Athletes ages 3-5 can register for the season on The Duchess team. They are not required to attend evaluations.

Exceptional athletes can register for the season on The Royal Lords & Ladies and do not need to attend evaluations.

KRE is searching for athletes with a strong passion for the sport of competitive cheerleading and a deep dedication to their squad and their skills. Athletes and families must understand the requirement for this sport. It is time consuming and requires dedication. This sport is a TEAM sport. Missing practice effects the ENTIRE team and is not acceptable.

Elite Teams - Ages 6-17, Levels 1-4
Mini Team - Exhibition Only - Ages 3-6
CheerABILITIES - for exceptional athletes - Ages 5 and up

Levels are determined by each group's capabilities. Participants are judged on more than tumbling skills. Athletes can be placed on a higher level team with great jumps and stunt skills while having no tumbling skills.

Kentucky Royal Elite will add additional squad(s) upon demand.

*Squads must have a minimum of 8 athletes.
*Ages based on age as of 12/31/24
*Some participants may be moved out of their age group to align more with their skill level.
